The Green Hub Garden Club is a local based, informal gardening group for learning, sharing and connecting. The objectives of the group are: Creating local resilience: locally grown seeds and food. Promoting health and well-being. Nature and Biodiversity: a connection with nature to include, gardening for nature and rewilding etc. Community exchange: swap plants, seeds, materials, skills, knowledge and stories. Fun! We had out first in-person get together in Strokestown Library on March 11th 2020 and intend to organise regular talks, workshops, garden visits, and who knows what else towards the above aims*. This online group is one place where we can share practise, ask and answer questions, and seed new ideas in between meetups. Notice and minutes of future meetings, or photo's of the meetings/events can also be shared here. *In person meet up's are currently paused due to Covid 19, In the meantime we can connect here, share gardening stories, ask questions and make plans for future months.
