 Celebrating its 152nd year, the annual Strokestown Agricultural & Industrial Show is taking place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of September 2018.
Saturday's highlights include the €5,000 Sweeney Family Beef Bullock Championship, the €2,000 Greenvale Animal Feeds All-Ireland Beef Heifer Championship and the €10,000 Irish Angus All-Ireland Finals. Sunday hosts the Horse & Pony Show Classes, Driving Competitions and the spectacular Dog Show (2 rings). Sunday is also our Family Day with our Little Miss and Master Competitions and Baby Show. Other highlights include Best Dressed Lady and Glamorous Granny Competitions. This year also sees the return of the highly successful Flavours from the Heart Ireland Food & Drinks Fair. Once again showcasing the wealth of culinary delights from the locality and further afield, this year it will include appearances from Celebrity Chefs Simon Delaney, David Porter and Brian McDermott.
