golf club: breast cancer charity fundraiser

Last year the Strokestown Golf Club Ladies Committee hosted a hugely successful fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research raising over €3,000.

This year they are hosting the event again on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July.

The “Play in Pink” Open competition is for men and women, the format is 18 Hole Stableford and entry fee is €20.00 with re-entry for €10.00

If anyone wishes to sponsor a tee box for €10.00 please contact Anne Neary, Brid Connellan or Peter Hanley.

Unfortunately, Breast Cancer has touched many of our lives either directly or indirectly so we would appreciate it if you spread the word with your golfing friends and let’s make this event an even bigger success than last year.
